ACT Global, in joint venture with RISE Institute, has launched a new Asian Development Bank (ADB) technical assistance assignment to strengthen preschool education and care in the Kyrgyz Republic. The project will support the modernization of preschool education and care standards and curriculum, strengthen professional capacity, and contribute to improving the quality, inclusiveness and accessibility of services for young children, while supporting the Government’s longer-term objective of expanding access to preschool education and care.
Working closely with ADB, government counterparts and national stakeholders, the project will support the strengthening of preschool education and care policies, standards and practices, with a focus on improving quality and advancing more inclusive approaches. The work will also support the wider application of strengthened approaches across the country.
The assignment will also examine the investment and financing needs of the preschool education and care system, helping to inform sustainable approaches to expanding access and strengthening the sector over the longer term.
As Lead Partner, ACT Global will lead the technical delivery of the assignment in partnership with RISE Institute, drawing on its expertise in early childhood education and care, inclusive education, institutional strengthening, capacity development and evidence-based policy analysis.
